&Tradition Drop Leaf folding table

The &Tradition Drop Leaf HM5 is a folding side table designed in 1956 by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen for the Danish brand &Tradition. Its distinctive character lies in the sculptural folding base, a symmetrical assembly of openwork frames in curved solid wood, connected by gilt brass fittings. Both the tabletop and the base are crafted from milled solid wood, while the hinges and hardware are made of brass, ensuring refined and lasting build quality.

The interplay of solids and voids, the transparency of the organic lines, and the visual lightness make the Drop Leaf an enduring design piece, perfectly suited to enhance a living room or a bedroom. Available in oiled oak or oiled walnut finishes, it integrates naturally into both classic and contemporary interiors. With a height of 56 cm, a width of 80 cm and a depth of 78 cm, it offers a generous surface while retaining elegant, slender proportions. Felt gliders are included and fitted as standard.
