Description

The Drop Leaf coffee table was designed in 1956 by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen, with an originality that lies in its folding sculptural base. This symmetrical assembly is made up of openwork frames in curved solid wood, connected by gilt brass pieces. The beauty of the organic lines, the play of solids and voids and transparency, give this piece simplicity, lightness and elegance.

The table base and top are made of milled solid wood and the hinges and fittings are made of brass. Available in the finishes oiled oak or oiled walnut. Felt gliders included, installed in series.
