&Tradition coffee table Ita OS4

&Tradition Ita OS4 is the square low coffee table from the Ita collection, designed by OEO Studio for &Tradition. The collection takes its name from the Japanese word for a plank of wood and draws inspiration from the practice of miyadaiku carpentry, the centuries-old craft that uses integral cuts to join wooden elements without screws or glue, from furniture to temples. Ita bridges the boundary between Scandinavian and Japanese design philosophies, resulting in a piece of refined character and meticulous construction: the MDF sheets are CNC-cut, then covered with an oak veneer and solid oak edges, sanded and protected with a water-based varnish. Subtleties such as rounded edges and non-slip felt pads complete the craftsmanship of the piece.

Measuring 110 × 110 cm with a height of just 25 cm, the Ita OS4 coffee table stands out for its low profile and generous surface, perfect for displaying books, cherished objects or serving drinks in style. The low centre of gravity, combined with its generous dimensions, lends a sense of grace and grandeur to the rooms it inhabits.
