&Tradition coffee table Ita OS3

&Tradition Ita OS3 is a low rectangular coffee table designed by OEO Studio for &Tradition, part of the debut Ita collection. The name derives from the Japanese word for a plank of wood, and the collection draws its inspiration from the practice of miyadaiku carpentry — the centuries-old craft that, from furniture to temples, uses integral cuts to join wooden elements without screws or glue. Ita bridges Scandinavian and Japanese design philosophies, embodying a refined, pared-back aesthetic enriched by details such as rounded edges and meticulous attention to assembly.

The OS3 model is the rectangular version of the collection's low coffee tables: crafted from MDF clad with oak veneer and solid oak edges, it is cut using a CNC machine, sanded and protected with a water-based varnish. At 110 cm wide, 60 cm deep and just 25 cm tall, it provides generous surface space for displaying books, cherished objects or serving drinks. The low centre of gravity, combined with its generous footprint, lends a sense of grace and visual presence to any room. Designed exclusively for indoor use and completed with non-slip felt pads, it is a sophisticated choice for the living room.
