Designer Jaime Hayon's new Archivo is a collection of bookcase-shelves that is originally made as part of a personal project for the designer's private home. Its fluid and soft yet sturdy design plays a key role in the art of storing objects and memories. Organic curves symbolize the aesthetic language: The Sky Blue variant is a nod to Hayon's love of color, the Black Grey offers a more neutral tone, and the Oak has a much more classic appeal. The bookcases are available in three sizes: a two, three or five-tier unit, each designed specifically for the role they will play within your homes.
Archivo is made from FSC-certified wood. For the Oak variant, shelves are made from MDF cut with a CNC machine and covered with oak veneer tops and solid oak edges. A water-based clear varnish is applied after production. For the Sky Blue and Black Grey variants, the shelves are made from MDF with a CNC machine before being lacquered immediately after production.
Plastic gliders are included.
