Tom Dixon Melt Round System suspension lamp

Melt Round System is a suspension lamp designed by Tom Dixon that interprets light as a moving material. Crafted in polycarbonate through a sophisticated process of vacuum blowing and metallization, it generates spheres with a molten character, animated by deep reflections and an unusual brilliance that shifts with every perspective. The interplay of transparency and opacity creates a refined balance of light and dark, ideal for contemporary interiors seeking a distinctive aesthetic and strong visual impact. The LED light source delivers a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white) and a CRI greater than 90 for exceptional colour rendering, while the dimmable function allows the light intensity to be adjusted to suit any mood. The lamp is supplied with a canopy for suspension mounting and features an IP20 protection rating, insulation class II.

Perfect for enhancing a living room or high-end hospitality space, Melt Round System asserts itself as a sculptural centrepiece capable of defining the entire atmosphere of a room. It is available in two versions and seven different finishes, with the choice between a bulb version and an integrated LED version. The Mini version in the bulb configuration features 5x E14 LED sockets at 100–240 V 15 W, while the integrated LED version runs at 220–240 V 9 W; dimensions are Ø730 × 2000 mm. The Large version in the bulb configuration features 2x E27 and 3x E14 LED sockets at 100–240 V 15 W, with the integrated LED version also running at 220–240 V 9 W; dimensions increase to Ø950 × 2000 mm. Please note that in the bulb version only, the light source is not included.
