Terzani Oscar table lamp

The great Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer once said about his work: ‘It is not the right angle that attracts me, nor the straight line. Hard, rigid, man-made. What really fascinates me is the free, sensual curve. The curve I see in the sinuous course of our rivers, in the clouds in the sky, in the body of the woman I love. The universe is entirely made of curves'. Inspired to pay tribute to one of the founders of modern architecture, designer Dodo Arslan has created a series of lamps named ‘Oscar’, which celebrate his vision by adopting Niemeyer's distinctive, sensual curves.

The Oscar table lamp is distinguished by its timeless elegance: a glass sphere, delicately supported by a curved brass frame, that seems suspended between light and matter. Available in precious finishes such as nickel, brass, black, white, gold plated and rose gold, each piece is a perfect fusion of craftsmanship and innovative design. Designed by Dodo Arslan and made in Italy, the Oscar lamp is a tribute to the beauty of fluid and harmonious shapes that will enrich any environment with a touch of refined modernity.
