YOY is a Tokyo-based design studio founded in 2011 by Naoki Ono and Yuki Yamamoto. Naoki Ono, born in 1981, graduated in architectural design from the Kyoto Technological Institute in 2008; Yuki Yamamoto, born in 1985, graduated in Industrial Design from Kanazawa College of Art in 2008. Together they set the concept "between space and objects" as a design theme for designing furniture, lighting and interior spaces. Their work has been sold all over the world, including MoMA. YOY has been recognized around the wold with numerous international awards. Appointed as part-time lecturers at Musashino Art University since 2015.
