Stilnovo Fante table lamp

Stilnovo Fante is a table lamp designed in 1978 by Jonathan De Pas, Donato D'Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi for Stilnovo, and still regarded as one of the most iconic pieces of Italian design from the Seventies, cherished by architects and interior designers worldwide. Its silhouette recalls the figure of an elegant female form: a wide painted aluminium disc, reminiscent of a broad-brimmed hat, rests freely on the bulb and defines the lamp's characteristic shape, while the conical silicone base — available in black or red — completes a perfectly proportioned profile that is soft and pleasant to the touch.

The most distinctive feature of Fante is its light-orientation system: the upper reflector can be freely tilted without any mechanism, allowing simultaneous control of the direct light on the surface below and the gentle indirect upward diffusion. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of settings: it enhances the desk of an office, accompanies reading and relaxation moments in the living room, or integrates elegantly into the intimate atmosphere of a bedroom. The 11 W LED light source with E26-E27 socket is included and delivers warm light at 2700 K with a colour rendering index greater than 80, ideal for both residential and contract environments. The 2000 mm power cord, integrated switch, universal voltage 100-240 V and IP20 indoor rating complete a lamp that seamlessly combines design heritage with contemporary functionality. The dimensions — height 280 mm, base diameter 182 mm, upper diameter 301 mm — make it well-proportioned for a variety of surfaces.
