Slide Toy decorative side table

Slide Toy is the decorative side table designed by Prospero Rasulo for Slide Design, created in 2002 as a tribute to the timeless Japanese-style Butterfly table of the 1950s. Crafted entirely in polyethylene through rotational moulding, Toy is a single-block structure that is both robust and remarkably lightweight — just 5 kg — making it effortless to move from one setting to another. Its compact dimensions of 50x42x35 cm and bold, decisive lines give it a rigorous yet pop character that remains as relevant today as when it was first conceived.

The durability of polyethylene makes Toy equally suited to indoor and outdoor use, fitting seamlessly into open-air settings such as the outdoor environment as well as the living room. One of its most distinctive features is its vibrant colour palette: available in thirteen standard colours, ranging from the neutral and sophisticated Jet Black to the lively Lime Green, Toy makes it easy to express personality and style in any space. Lacquered colours are also available on request for those seeking an even more refined finish.
