Slamp Fiordlys wall lamp

Fiordlys by Slamp is a wall lamp designed by Paolo D'Arrigo, inspired by the flowing waves of the aurora borealis and the dynamic shapes of Nordic cliffs. In an urban environment, where speed and chaos often disrupt human equilibrium, Fiordlys introduces the calming and refreshing breeze of nature into the home. It is a highly customisable product in terms of finishes. Fiordlys presents itself as a true homage to technopolymers, with a structure of concentric shells that recounts the evolution of Slamp's distinctive materials. This design celebrates tradition and innovation through three key materials.

The innermost surface is made of Opaflex®, a material that recalls the brand's origins, with a delicate golden hue. In the centre is Lentiflex®, introduced some fifteen years ago, whose cannulated texture generates extraordinary iridescent effects. Finally, the outer surface uses an innovative technology from 2023, which applies a cold metallised foil, capable of creating poetic and evocative light and shadow effects. This marriage of contemporary aesthetics and techniques inspired by traditional glassmaking confirms Fiordlys as a perfect ode to technopolymers.
