Seletti's Kintsugi vases are a modern reinterpretation of an ancient Japanese tradition that celebrates the beauty of breakage and recovery. In fact, the name “Kintsugi” refers to a ceramic repair technique that uses gold, silver or platinum to join the fragments of a broken object, transforming the crack into a visible and enhanced part of the work. These vases, designed by Seletti, pay homage to this philosophy, blending the aesthetics of traditional ceramics with contemporary design. The golden lines that run across the surface, amidst the floral decorations, highlight the fractures, creating a contrast, between fragility and beauty. Perfect for adding a touch of elegance and originality to any room.
