Kintsugi Heads by Seletti is a collection of decorative porcelain heads designed by Marcantonio, inspired by the ancient Japanese art of kintsugi. The golden cracks celebrate imperfection, transforming every fracture into a distinctive symbol of beauty, uniqueness and identity.
Created by Marcantonio for Seletti, Kintsugi Heads features two faces, one male and one female, both enriched with elegant golden details inspired by the Japanese philosophy of kintsugi. Rather than concealing imperfections, this traditional technique highlights them, turning every crack into an integral part of the object's history and character.
Crafted from porcelain with golden details, Kintsugi Heads are conceived as expressive decorative pieces with a strong artistic presence. Their sculptural forms naturally enhance a living room, a bedroom or a creative office, where they immediately become striking focal points.
The golden details emphasise every fracture across the surface, transforming the concept of imperfection into a contemporary aesthetic language. Marcantonio's artistic and symbolic approach turns design into storytelling, creating objects capable of inspiring reflection and emotion.
Kintsugi Heads perfectly embodies Seletti's creative philosophy, bringing together art, contemporary design and experimentation in decorative objects with a distinctive identity.
