Rotaliana Venere wall or ceiling lamp

Rotaliana Venere is a wall or ceiling lamp designed by Giovanni Lauda in 2021 for Rotaliana, the Italian design lighting manufacturer. Its circular form and exceptionally slim profile — just 47 mm deep — allow it to integrate seamlessly into wall and ceiling surfaces. The body consists of two overlapping elements joined by a hinge, cast in aluminum, while the diffuser is made of injection-molded opaline polycarbonate. The lamp can open up to 96° and rotate in all directions, enabling precise directional control of the light beam.

Thanks to its versatility and superior light quality, Venere is an excellent choice for the living room, the bedroom and the office, wherever precise, high-quality and aesthetically refined lighting is required. It can also be used as an over-mirror light. The integrated high-efficiency LED source offers a color rendering index of CRI90, ensuring accurate and natural color reproduction. The light temperature is selectable between 2700K (very warm light) and 3000K (warm light), to suit different ambient requirements. Venere is available in two sizes: the W1 version with a 25 cm diameter, 25W power output and a luminous flux of 2100 lm, and the W2 version with a 33 cm diameter, 36W power output and a luminous flux of 3600 lm. Both versions operate on a wide voltage range of 100–240 V, making them suitable for worldwide use (EU, AUD, USA, UK, JAP). The protection rating is IP20, appropriate for indoor installation.

DALI-compatible dimming allows precise adjustment of light intensity; a Push dimmable version is also available on request — when ordering, simply select the DALI dimmable version and specify the Push dimmable preference in the order notes. The lamp is offered in a wide range of finishes: Matt white, Matt black, Graphite, Gray, Bronze, Dark bronze, Gold and Champagne (Satin Collection). The colors of the Kerakoll Warm Collection — sand, rope, dove gray, coffee — are available to order upon request. The circular shape and characteristic pivoting movement evoke the image of an eye glancing around, or the legendary "strabismus of Venus", a celebrated element of aesthetic fascination that inspired the name of this Made in Italy product.
