Rotaliana SOL bi-emission floor lamp

Rotaliana SOL is a bi-emission floor lamp designed by Paolo Rizzatto for Rotaliana. Its defining element is a disc with slightly rounded surfaces and edges, housing two separate integrated LED lighting systems: 96 LEDs directed downwards and 128 LEDs directed upwards, for a total consumption of 62 W. Purpose-designed raster optics eliminate glare, ensuring a UGR value below 16, while decorating the horizontal surfaces of the disc with an elegant pattern of concentric squares. Concentric circular engravings complete the design, discreetly contributing to heat dissipation.

Thanks to its minimal form and independently adjustable dual light emission, SOL adapts seamlessly to a wide range of interiors: it is an ideal choice for the living room, where it creates a warm and enveloping atmosphere, but proves equally effective in the bedroom or the office. Light intensity towards the ceiling and towards the floor can be adjusted independently — or simultaneously — via a potentiometer integrated into the stem, enabled by a smooth continuous dimming system. The LED source delivers a colour temperature of 2700 K (warm white) with a colour rendering index of CRI 90, ensuring faithful and pleasing colour reproduction. The total luminous flux reaches 5100 lm upward and 1900 lm downward, providing generous and well-distributed light. A total height of 185 cm, a base and diffuser diameter of Ø 28.5 cm, and an IP20 protection rating confirm its suitability for indoor use. A version with a 3000 K colour temperature is available on request.
