Rotaliana Ciminiere d'Italia floor lamp

Ciminiere d'Italia is a family of indirect light floor lamps designed by Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda for Rotaliana, conceived in 2011 and updated in 2019. The project draws inspiration from the industrial chimneys that define the Italian landscape — signs laden with history and symbols of an industrious Made in Italy — reinterpreting their slender proportions and chromatic finishes in a refined contemporary form. The body, crafted in die-cast aluminium, is available in three section variants: F1 with a square section, F2 with an octagonal section and F3 with a circular section, each offered in distinctive colour finishes that evoke the iconic hues of Italian chimneys.

Thanks to the compact footprint of the integrated 36W COB LED source, the lamps achieve a particularly thin and elongated silhouette, delivering a luminous flux of 4000 lm and a colour rendering index of CRI90 for vivid, natural colours. The 3000K colour temperature — with a 2700K version available on request — produces a warm and enveloping light, emitted upward in an indirect manner for harmonious ambient diffusion. The lamp is foot-switch dimmable, with an integrated driver, and is IP20 rated for indoor use. The elegant die-cast aluminium base is available in matt white or glossy gold finishes depending on the chosen variant. The F1 version comes in light blue with a glossy gold base or matt white with a white base; F2 in white with black checks with a glossy gold base or matt white with a white base; F3 in white with red stripes with a glossy gold base or matt white with a white base. An object that elevates the floor lamp into a sculptural statement, perfectly suited to enrich the living room, the bedroom or any characterful residential space where design becomes cultural narrative.
