Qeeboo x Andrea Branzi Genetic tales carpet 140x200

In honor of the great architect and designer Andrea Branzi, who passed away on Oct. 9, 2023, Qeeboo presents a collection of his never-before-seen works including rugs, pillows, ceramics, and metal objects that were originally designed for Qeeboo but never went into production. The Genetic Tales collection represents not only a journey through Branzi's thoughts but the eclecticism and freedom that distinguished him. It reveals his free and interdisciplinary approach to design and society, reminding us that the history of design was never just a history of objects, but also of thoughts, politics and people.

The carpets designed by Andrea Branzi for the Genetic Tales Collection, includes seven different models with dimensions 140x200 cm. Each carpet explores the connection between genetics and design, linking mass production with the infinite diversity of humanity. Branzi reflects on the concept of human infinity by incorporating human faces in all the works in this collection. They are made of polyamide (nylon), with non-slip polyester carpet pad. Made in Belgium.
