Prisma Insert +1 is a recessed LED step light by Performance and Lighting, designed for wall-recessed installation in solid walls, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. The housing is crafted in die-cast aluminium finished with high-resistance polyester powder coating applied through a 13-step process certified to ISO 9227 standards, ensuring long-lasting protection against UV rays and atmospheric agents. The internally frosted flat glass diffuser, combined with an EPDM gasket, contributes to achieving an IP65 protection rating, making the fixture suitable for exposed outdoor installations. The medium asymmetrical optic is optimised for general wall lighting.

With its refined finish and robust construction, Insert +1 is an excellent choice for illuminating paths, steps and access areas outdoor, as well as corridors and interior spaces. The 6W LED light source, powered at 220-240V via an included driver, delivers a luminous flux of 825 lumens in warm white 3000K and 850 lumens in neutral white 4000K, with an average rated lifespan of 60,000 hours. The compact dimensions — 224 x 55 x 64 mm — allow easy integration into a wide range of architectural settings. External electrical connection is provided via a waterproof QUICK plug-socket connector complete with cable, compatible with wires of 7 to 12 mm diameter, and stainless steel locking screws ensure a secure closure. The recessed fixing box required for installation is not included and must be ordered separately; it features a removable cover with two integrated spirit levels to simplify alignment during installation. Insert +1 is available in four colour options — white, metallic grey, metallic anthracite and polished natural brass — the latter specifically developed for marine environments. The Marine Brass version features a ring in marine brass casting with a polished vibratory finish; as with all natural metals, a normal oxidation process may occur over time, which can be restored using specific products available on the market. Insert +1 can also be adapted to fit the previous Insert 1 model using a dedicated adapter flange, available as a separate accessory.
