Terrazzo Quarry by Poltronova is a monumental and soft seating system, conceived as an inhabitable artificial landscape. The upholstered elements, resembling rocks, emerge from an imaginary ground where matter and decoration merge in an exclusive covering.

Designed by Bethan Laura Wood from the experience of a Venetian residence, the textile features gem fragments that seem to break free from the clay body to rest on the surface. The modular configuration — 71 × 227 × 169 cm — allows elements to be distributed throughout the space, generating various arrangements and inviting interaction and climbing on this seating that transforms surface into volume and pattern into landscape.
