Description

The Passiflora table lamp by Poltronova, a Superstudio work, is a luminous column with organic form.

Measuring 29 × 30 × 41 cm, the profile in yellow and opaline-white PMMA oscillates between natural and artificial, in a play of allusions and ambiguity. The column's deliberate deformation translates the Superstudio manifesto: a search between 'Design of invention and design of escape', where interior light reveals the intentional surface deformation.
