Description

The Mitzi sofa by Poltronova is a project by architect Hans Hollein that unites rigid and soft geometries.

Measuring 100 × 205 × 93 cm, the structure in poplar plywood with maple finish and semi-gloss water-based lacquer accommodates padded cushions and wool fabric. The dialectic between the wood base and root veneer creates a dialogue between curved backrest forms and straight base lines, uniting masculine and feminine elements in a rigorous composition.
