Technical features
Discharge lamps require a dedicated ballast for proper operation and have non-immediate switching on and restart times: a few minutes to reach full power, and up to 15 minutes of cooling after switching off before they can be turned back on.
LED retrofit
Today most discharge applications can be effectively replaced with equivalent LED solutions, achieving energy savings up to 60%, instant switching on, and drastic maintenance reduction.
