Petite Friture Spline outdoor suspension lamp

Spline by Petite Friture is an outdoor suspension lamp designed by David Derksen, inspired by nautical aesthetics: mooring lines, the shapes and colours of buoys, and the art of maritime knots. The name Spline is drawn from the mathematical function that generates continuous, flowing curves, reflecting both organic forms and geometric precision. The structure features a translucent satin-finish silicone strip, crafted with meticulous attention to detail — from the screws to the adjustable clip-fitted strap — across a total length of 4.5 metres.

An ideal choice for design outdoor settings — gardens, terraces, pergolas or trees — Spline stands out for its exceptional installation versatility: it can be hung from the ceiling, wrapped around a tree, or freely shaped in space using the strap clips, which allow height and wave count to be adjusted at will. Every component is removable, replaceable and customisable, offering complete creative freedom. The light source is an integrated 60 W LED, with a colour temperature of 2700 K (warm white) and a CRI greater than 90, delivering natural, enveloping light. Two LED strips with internal light cells provide 360° illumination at a luminous output of 4000 lm. The lamp is dimmable via a switch on the cable, and compatible with 100–240 V input voltage. With an IP65 protection rating for the LED and cable and insulation class III, Spline is fully rated for outdoor use. Mounting accessories are included.
