Petite Friture Francis mirror

Petite Friture Francis is a designer mirror created by Constance Guisset for the French brand Petite Friture. Its structure combines mirror and steel, with a rayon cellulose suspension cord attached to the centre of the slightly pointed back plate, causing the piece to tilt forward — a refined detail reminiscent of traditional Venetian mirrors. The creative process behind this piece is poetic and experimental: Constance Guisset added pigments to water and observed how they spread and bloomed on the surface, translating those visions into intense watercolour motifs that frame the mirror with a dreamlike and surprising atmosphere.

The Francis mirror by Petite Friture is available in three sizes: the small version has a diameter of Ø45 cm and weighs 3.5 kg, the large version reaches a diameter of Ø60 cm at 7 kg, while the extra-large version, with a diameter of Ø110 cm and a net weight of 23 kg, becomes a true statement piece. All three versions share a depth of 5 cm. Thanks to its decorative character and vivid chromatic design, the Francis mirror integrates with great elegance into both the living room and the bedroom, enhancing the wall with a strong and sophisticated visual identity.
