Pallucco Rainy Day decorative lamp

Pallucco Rainy Day is a decorative floor and wall lamp designed by Kazuhiro Yamanaka for Pallucco. The concept draws from the observation of rain: the reflection of light in puddles, with the world mirrored upside down, inspired the flat, circular form crafted in rotationally moulded polyethylene, available in translucent white and translucent acid green. The light source is a 15W LED strip at 3000K (warm white), reflecting downwards to create an evocative, enveloping glow within the space.

Thanks to its lightweight construction and the 8-metre fabric cable that matches the body, Rainy Day is a nomadic and highly versatile lamp, ideal for the living room or bedroom, easy to reposition at any time. Multiple units can be stacked to create columns of light; custom compositions are also available upon request. A silver painted steel wall mount allows vertical installation as an alternative configuration. With a diameter of 500 mm and a depth of 100 mm, it operates on universal voltage 100–240V (compatible with EU, USA, UK, AUS, JAP) and includes an on/off switch. Rainy Day is part of the permanent collection of the MoMA Museum of Modern Art in New York.
