Pallucco Egg suspension lamp in blown glass

The EGG suspension lamp comes from a project that recovers an ancient artisan technique, glass blowing in a cage, to create a luminous and organic object, like a cocoon placed or suspended in the environment. The blowing gives the glass slight irregularities in the shape and tiny air bubbles that seem to float in the material, making each single creation unique. The visible metal structure, wanted by the designer Enrico Franzolini, with its graphic play, gives this lamp a strong personality even when it is off.
