Osram SubstiTUBE T8 LED 17W is a high-quality LED tube by Osram, designed as a direct replacement for classic 36W T8 fluorescent lamps in luminaires equipped with a conventional electromagnetic ballast. Built with a glass tube measuring 1212 mm in length and 27 mm in diameter, it fits directly into the G13 lampholder without any rewiring, making installation quick and straightforward. A starter is included in the packaging. The LED light source delivers neutral white light at 4000K, ideal for environments requiring clear and consistent visibility, with a 160° beam angle ensuring uniform illumination.

With energy savings of up to 65% compared to conventional T8 fluorescent lamps and an average rated lifespan of 30,000 hours, the Osram SubstiTUBE LED tube significantly reduces long-term maintenance costs. Instant-on performance makes it an excellent choice when combined with motion or presence sensors. Operating at 220–240V, it also performs reliably at low temperatures down to −20°C, making it suitable for cold storage rooms, warehouses, corridors, stairways and parking garages. The integrated electronic control gear ensures a high power factor, while the mercury-free composition guarantees full RoHS compliance. Protection rating IP20 confirms suitability for dry indoor installations. Not dimmable.
