The Osram SubstiTUBE T8 LED 230V 1200 mm is a 1212 mm LED tube engineered by Osram as a direct replacement for classic T8 fluorescent lamps in conventional ballast luminaires. Its polycarbonate body combines durability with lightweight construction, while the T8 lampholder ensures full compatibility with existing fixtures for a straightforward retrofit. With a 190° beam angle, the tube delivers uniform, diffused light, making it an excellent choice for spaces that demand consistent and even illumination.

Thanks to LED technology and an average rated life of 50,000 hours, this tube significantly lowers maintenance costs compared to conventional fluorescent lamps. Instant start makes it particularly well suited for use with presence sensors, while its resistance to low temperatures — operating range from -20°C to +50°C — qualifies it for cold rooms, warehouses, corridors, car parks and garages. The tube operates at 220-240 V, is not dimmable, carries an IP20 protection rating, and is mercury-free and RoHS compliant. A starter is included in the package. Available in three colour temperatures — warm white 3000K, neutral white 4000K and cool white 6500K — it offers flexibility to match any application and lighting requirement.
