Oluce Recuerdo led Glass Suspension Lamp
Description
Recuerdo is a thesis project by designer Mariana Pellegrino Soto, who is inspired by a memory of her childhood when she dived and swam in Caribbean beaches and the play of light of the water enveloped her, creating reflections of the sun on the seabed. The Recuerdo lamp recreates these effects through the texture of the glass and the light source, while water is represented as an element through the shape, recalling the squashed spheroid figure of our planet.
Recuerdo starts from a rounded solid in transparent glass, with a refined matelass crystal effect, inside which the LED light source is protected by a sandblasted cylinder, which creates plays of light and reverberations in the space. The canopy is included. The table version is also available.
