Oluce Fresnel Outdoor Floor Lamp with Diffused Light Vintage

Oluce Fresnel is an outdoor floor lamp designed by Joe Colombo in 1966 for Oluce, and still regarded as a masterpiece of Italian design. Its most distinctive element is the Fresnel lens diffuser, which transforms light into a soft, deep and enveloping emission that gives any outdoor space an atmosphere suspended between function and elegance. The structure is crafted in painted cast aluminium with a galvanized metal pole finished in black powder coating, ensuring long-lasting durability and visual discretion, placing the quality of light above any superfluous decorative element.

Designed to enhance gardens, terraces and outdoor spaces even in humid environments, the Fresnel carries an IP45 protection rating, providing adequate shielding against dust and water splashes. It is available in two height versions: 40 cm for low-level installation, ideal for pathways and flowerbeds, and 90 cm for a more scenographic and visible presence. Both versions accommodate a light source with an E14 socket, compatible with LED or halogen bulbs up to 40 W (not included), powered at 220-240 V and compatible with the main international electrical standards. The black finish allows the Fresnel to integrate naturally into any architectural context, from contemporary gardens to classic settings, confirming its character as a timeless object — perfected by the passage of years rather than by the addition of ornament.
