A visionary and futuristic designer, Joe Colombo designed the Colombo lamp in 1970 in response to the rapid spread of the halogen light source. The design was in fact one of the first domestic lamps to use the new bulb. Colombo's design itself (base, chrome stem and adjustable reflector) responds to the need for clean forms and technological functionalism that accompany the great designer's thought and design. On the occasion of its 50th anniversary, the Colombo family has been updated in a modern LED version. The Colombo 885/L is an LED luminaire with an output of 24 watts. The light temperature of 2700 Kelvin with a luminous flux of 4100 lumens. It also provides direct and indirect light, with a swivelling and height-adjustable reflector. It is available in bronze, black or red.
