Northern Tradition led suspension lamp

Northern Tradition is a LED suspension lamp by the brand Northern, designed by Morten and Jonas, offering a contemporary reinterpretation of an ancient textile technique. The lampshade is crafted from knitted woven polyester over a white painted steel frame, while the 370cm power cord is covered in silk, lending a refined artisanal quality to the overall design. The semi-transparent texture of the shade diffuses a soft, enveloping light, while the open lower section directs light downward, combining two distinct lighting qualities within a single design object.

Tradition lends itself gracefully to both single installations and multiple compositions for a more dramatic effect, bringing an understated and typically Scandinavian aesthetic to any setting. It is an ideal choice for enhancing the living room or the bedroom, where the quality of light and the formal beauty of the fixture become central elements of the interior. The lamp is compatible with LED light sources (E27 socket, maximum power 13W), supports intensity adjustment thanks to its dimmable functionality, and operates at an input voltage of 220-240V with insulation class II and protection degree IP20. The canopy, included, has a diameter of 150mm. The lamp is available in three distinct versions, each differing in shape and size: Version 1, tall and slender (H490 x ØD400mm, weight 4.90kg); Version 2, more compact (H275 x ØD400mm, weight 4.00kg); and Version 3, wide and oval (H275 x ØD730mm, weight 2.80kg), designed for larger spaces.
