Nemo Lighting's Parliament floor lamp, designed by Le Corbusier in 1963, is an icon of modernism that reflects the industrial lighting of the time. Created for the Parliament in Chandigarh, this lamp features a swivelling diffuser composed of two symmetrical cones, capable of providing both direct and indirect light.
The lamp's finish recalls Le Corbusier's ‘claviers de couleurs’ colour system, using a balanced colour palette that contributes to creating different atmospheres in rooms. Its simple geometric shape and clean lines make it an elegant piece of furniture, suitable for various spaces, both residential and commercial.
Parliament is not only a lighting object, but also a work of art that embodies Le Corbusier's innovative vision while maintaining its relevance and charm in contemporary design. Its versatility allows the light to be adapted to different needs, making it a distinctive element in any context.
