Nemo Parliament floor lamp

Nemo Parliament floor lamp is an icon of modernism designed by Le Corbusier in 1963 for the Parliament of Chandigarh and produced by Nemo. Crafted in aluminium and steel, it features an adjustable diffuser composed of two symmetrical cones of different diameters — Ø160 mm and Ø120 mm — providing simultaneous direct and indirect light emission. With an adjustable height between 1700 and 1800 mm and a base diameter of Ø260 mm, the structure is well-proportioned and sturdy, weighing 9.5 kg net and featuring a 2.7 m cable with a built-in double switch.

Parliament is a floor lamp suited to both residential environments and representative spaces. Its essential geometric form and clean lines make it a statement furnishing piece, ideal for enhancing a living room or a professional setting such as an office. The available finishes — grey-white, green-yellow, black-yellow and black-red — are inspired by Le Corbusier's "claviers de couleurs" colour system, giving each version a distinct personality that adapts to different atmospheres. The lamp is compatible with E26-E27 lamp holders and requires two 52W bulbs (not included), with a universal input voltage of 100-240 V compatible with the main international standards (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). Its IP20 rating makes it suitable for indoor use only.
