Description

The Riviera carpet, designed by Nathalie Du Pasquier in 1983 for Memphis Milano, combines natural elements such as flowers, fruits and birds with geometric shapes and vibrant patterns. The warm colours of turquoise, yellow and orange create a balance between the different figures, while the soft lines of the phytomorphic shapes interrupt the rigidity of the composition. Handmade from Tibetan wool, the carpet represents a harmony between order and movement, with its particular aesthetic mixing structured organisation with the freedom of organic forms. Available in two sizes, each piece is unique due to its craftsmanship.
