Potato by Memphis Milano, designed by George J. Sowden in 1985, is a round hand-turned ceramic tray with two metal handles. Its surface is characterized by a pale green hue and raised edges, designed to make the tray practical in everyday use. The two handles form the main decorative feature of the design: their ergonomic and recognizable shape is highlighted by small red ceramic elements, creating a distinctive colour contrast. An everyday object reinterpreted through the free and unconventional language of Memphis design.

With a diameter of 31 cm, Potato combines functionality, colour and formal experimentation in a highly decorative home accessory. The design reflects George J. Sowden's approach and the experimental attitude that characterized Memphis during the 1980s, transforming a simple tray into an expressive furnishing object. Its graphic presence makes it suitable for both the kitchen and the living room, where it can be used as a functional tray or displayed as a decorative piece.

Features: Memphis Milano tray designed by George J. Sowden in 1985, made from hand-turned ceramic with two metal handles, pale green finish, raised edges and small red ceramic decorative elements on the handles.

Dimensions: diameter Ø 31 cm.
