Memphis Nara coffee table

Memphis Nara is a concrete coffee table designed by Shiro Kuramata for Memphis Milano, conceived in 1983 as a true manifesto of postmodern design. Its elementary structure merges Japanese aesthetics with a distinctly Western sensibility, dissolving any boundary between form, material, interior and exterior. The concrete surface features a texture reminiscent of traditional terrazzo, enriched by colored glass inserts that introduce touches of light and chromatic vitality to the composition.
