The Memphis Miami rugs by Memphis Milano, created in collaboration with Katherine Bernhardt, are a collection of 100% New Zealand wool rugs, entirely hand-knotted in Nepal, merging contemporary art, pop culture and iconic design. Born for the "Memphis Miami" exhibition presented during Design Miami 2024, the collection reinterprets some of Katherine Bernhardt's most recognizable subjects through the unmistakable visual language of Memphis. Each model is handcrafted in a limited edition of only 9 numbered pieces (1/9), transforming every rug into an authentic collector's item.

Every piece requires extensive manual craftsmanship, making each example truly one of a kind. These rugs are ideal for the living room, contemporary interiors and design-focused spaces, where they naturally become the focal point of any environment. The collection comprises twelve models with irregular silhouettes inspired by the artist's recurring subjects: Monster (210 × 250 cm), Brooklyn (300 × 245 cm), Bronx (300 × 245 cm), Sugar Baby (250 × 124 cm), Culebra (250 × 140 cm), California (207 × 270 cm), Capricciosa (207 × 270 cm), Square (210 × 124 cm), Loosie (320 × 126 cm), Smoke (420 × 123 cm), Blaze (250 × 300 cm) and Heatwave (250 × 300 cm). The outlines evoke iconic pop culture symbols such as Cookie Monster, watermelon, cigarettes and other subjects reinterpreted through Memphis' bold and playful aesthetic.
