Memphis Le Palme bookcase

Le Palme, designed by Gerard Taylor for Memphis in 1983, is a storage bookcase that strongly expresses the experimental and unconventional language of Memphis design. The composition is built around a sophisticated interplay of geometric joints and colour contrasts, where each element appears distinct and independent while contributing to a dynamic and asymmetrical formal balance. The central black storage unit becomes the visual core of the structure, giving rhythm and stability to the overall composition.

Made of wood covered with decorative laminate and enriched with metal and glass elements, Le Palme combines functionality with aesthetic experimentation in a piece full of character. Ideal for a living room, a creative studio or contemporary contract interiors, it can also be used as a room divider thanks to its architectural and scenographic structure.
