Memphis Bay table lamp

Memphis Bay is the table lamp designed by Ettore Sottsass for Memphis Milano, an icon of postmodern design that fully embodies the philosophy of the Memphis movement. The structure is crafted in painted metal, while the perspex diffusers give the lamp a visually distinctive character: two orange discs appear suspended on the inverted cone of the base, forming a composition of bold geometries and vibrant colours that make Bay far more than a simple light source.

With a total height of 500 mm and a diameter of 40 cm, Memphis Bay asserts itself as a statement decorative piece in any setting. The perspex diffusers deliver a soft, diffused light, creating a warm and enveloping atmosphere thanks to a colour temperature of 3000 K (warm white). The lamp features an E26-E27 lampholder and operates at 220-240 V, with a 15 W LED bulb included.
