Martinelli Luce Grammoluce floor lamp

Grammoluce by Martinelli Luce, designed by Studio Habits and Min Dong, is a table lamp from 2025 that revolutionizes the idea of interaction with light. It is not just an illuminating object, but a true sensory experience: here, weight becomes the language to adjust the intensity and temperature of the LED. The lamp consists of a painted aluminum base, a transparent borosilicate glass structure, and an upper membrane of elastic Lycra. Three glass balls of different sizes and weights are placed on top of this fabric, which deform the fabric and activate the light control system. The more weight applied, the more intense and cool the light becomes; with lighter weights, the atmosphere remains warm and soft. Grammoluce proposes a simple gesture-laying a sphere-as a tool for shaping the environment, blending poetic design, technology and physical interaction. The result is a lamp with a strong personality, capable of changing with the user, in a continuous dialogue between form, weight and light.
