Martinelli Luce Grammoluce floor lamp

Martinelli Luce Grammoluce is a table lamp from 2025, designed by Studio Habits and Min Dong for Martinelli Luce, which redefines the concept of light control through an entirely original physical interaction. The transparent borosilicate glass structure rests on a black painted aluminium base, topped by an elastic Lycra membrane on which three borosilicate glass spheres of different weights — 0.3 kg, 0.7 kg and 1.3 kg — are placed. The deformation of the fabric caused by the weight of the spheres activates the light regulation system: the heavier the weight applied, the more intense and cooler the light becomes; lighter weights produce a warm, soft atmosphere. The integrated 33 W LED module delivers a tunable CCT colour temperature from 1800 K to 3000 K, a luminous flux of 3300 lm and an average lifespan of 50,000 hours. The light emission is diffused, with a built-in dimmer function and an electronic plug-in driver operating at 220–240 V input voltage.

Grammoluce stands out for its ability to merge poetic design and sensory technology into a single object of strong formal identity. It is a refined choice for the living room or the bedroom, where managing the light atmosphere is an integral part of living comfort. With a diameter of 400 mm and a height of 460 mm, it fits elegantly on sideboards, bedside tables or reading desks, becoming both a furnishing element and an expressive tool for the inhabitant.
