Martinelli Luce Cobra is an iconic table lamp designed in 1968 by Elio Martinelli, and one of the first lighting fixtures ever produced in molded resin. Its form originates from a spherical geometry and can be transformed through a 360° rotation mechanism: the lower body pivots on a steel base and connects to the upper body via a central joint, allowing the lamp to shift shape into the sinuous "S" configuration that evokes the strike of a cobra. The internal reflector is in white painted aluminium, delivering a focused direct light emission.
