Martinelli Luce Cobra Table Lamp texture Adolini e Simonini

Martinelli Luce Cobra Texture is a designer table lamp conceived by Elio Martinelli in 1968, and among the first lighting fixtures ever produced in resin using an innovative molding process. The structure consists of two bodies molded in thermosetting resin: the lower body rotates on a steel base, while a central joint allows 360° rotation between the two elements, enabling the lamp to take on different configurations — including the iconic sinusoidal "S" shape that evokes the leap of a striking cobra. The internal reflector is in white-painted aluminium, providing direct light emission.

This edition was created to celebrate the fiftieth anniversary of the Cobra lamp: Martinelli Luce invited its collaborating designers to reinterpret its character through a graphic texture applied to the lamp body — a collective tribute to Elio Martinelli. The texture on this version is by Adolini+Simonini Associati, part of a limited edition of 30 signed and numbered pieces. Fitted with an E26/E27 lampholder, compatible with a 12 W LED bulb (3000 K warm white, not included), dimensions Ø40×40 cm and IP20 protection rating for indoor use. A rare collector's piece, perfect for a living room, a bedroom or a creative workspace.
