The Martinelli Luce Cobra Table Lamp Texture, featuring artwork by Alfonso Femia and Arthur Simony, is a limited edition piece created to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic Cobra lamp, originally designed by Elio Martinelli in 1968. Crafted from two bodies moulded in thermosetting resin, the lamp's lower body rotates on a steel base and connects to the upper body via a central joint allowing 360° rotation, enabling full directional control of the light. An internal reflector in white-painted aluminium ensures precise direct light emission. Released as 30 signed and numbered specimens, each piece features a unique hand-drawn graphic texture inspired by three words — love, realism, imaginary — conceived by Alfonso Femia and brought to life by the hand of Arthur Simony.
