Lumina Limbus Frosted modular suspension lamp

Lumina Limbus Frosted is a modular suspension lamp designed by Emanuele Ricci for Lumina, unveiled at Euroluce 2023. Its defining feature is a diffuser composed of two glass hemispheres: the lower one, with its frosted, opaque surface, gives the lamp its unmistakable character, eliminating glare and delivering a soft, diffused light emission. All metal components are crafted in turned aluminium, finished with artisanal precision, and available in Anodized Black, Anodized Brass and Anodized Aluminium. Like a self-contained small cosmos, Limbus Frosted houses all optical and electronic elements within its body, acting simultaneously as a heat sink, powered by an integrated 5 W LED source with a diameter of 120 mm.

Born from the combination of artisanal craftsmanship and advanced technology, Limbus Frosted is designed to illuminate horizontal surfaces with refined elegance — ideal above a dining table, counter or desk, where it deploys its special luminous effect in modular series compositions. This versatility makes it an outstanding choice for the living room as well as contract environments and residential design spaces. The lamp supports a selectable colour temperature of 2700K or 3000K, with a colour rendering index greater than 90, ensuring warm, natural light that enhances materials and lit surfaces. It is fully dimmable via On-Off, DALI, Push Dim and 1-10V protocols, compatible with an input voltage of 100-240 V, and rated IP20 for indoor use. The power cord offers a maximum adjustable length of 3000 mm, providing ample flexibility during installation. The canopy containing the driver is not included and is available separately as an installation accessory: it is required for correct mounting and dimming functionality.
