Luceplan Stochastic 48 Spheres Modular Suspension Lamp White

In 2016 Daniel Rybakken designed Stochastic, a suspension lamp with a suggestive character which, thanks to the dematerialization of the support elements, gives the product a scenographic and poetic nature, not only functional but also aesthetic and decorative. Composed of glass spheres at different heights, the lamp allows infinite combinations in a sort of "controlled freedom": each sphere is in fact connected to steel rods distinguished by different lengths, which will then be hooked to the structure according to one's creativity, giving life to a cluster of light that is different every time. Hence the name Stochastic, which indicates precisely a random process in reference to the different possibilities of combining the spheres. The double high-efficiency LED light source is placed in the center of the sphere's cloud, creating a contrast with the very light glass spheres. By hiding the source, the reflected and refracted light itself becomes the protagonist of the composition, transforming the individual components into a single thing thanks to the complex play of light that originates at the center of the installation.

Version made up of a kit of 48 opal white glass spheres, tie rods for suspending the modules and the structure complete with light source (phase-cut dimmable), ceiling rose and ceiling attachment.
