Luceplan Soleil Noir led suspension lamp

Luceplan Soleil Noir is a LED suspension lamp designed by Studio Odile Decq for Luceplan — a project that defies the laws of statics through a body in molded polyurethane foam with an asymmetric profile, its thickness varying from 8 to 25 mm. Supported by a single asymmetric cable, the lamp maintains its barycentric balance in an almost paradoxical manner, presenting itself as a lighting element bordering on the impossible: slender, airy, and refined. The luminous disc, housing a 35 W integrated LED source, emits light that is first set within the diffuser itself before spreading through the space with diffused and reflected emission, warm and enveloping at 3000 K, with a luminous flux of 1728 lm and a color rendering index of CRI80.

Soleil Noir is designed for high-profile interiors — from the contemporary living room to the executive office — where the quality of light and the strength of the architectural gesture must coexist. Its dimensions — length 1200 mm, diffuser 625×353 mm, maximum installation height 3200 mm, ceiling rose Ø 150×45 mm — make it ideal for high-ceilinged spaces or open-plan environments that call for a light fixture capable of asserting itself as a sculptural work. The DALI and Push dimming system allows precise control of light intensity, integrating seamlessly with advanced home automation systems or simple push-button controls. The universal 100-240 V input voltage, IP20 protection rating, and insulation class I ensure safety and installation versatility in both residential and professional settings.
