Luceplan Soleil Noir led ceiling lamp

Luceplan Soleil Noir is an LED ceiling lamp designed by Studio Odile Decq for Luceplan — an object that challenges the laws of statics and redefines the boundaries of contemporary design. Crafted in moulded polyurethane foam, the lamp features an extraordinarily slender body with thicknesses ranging from 8 to 25 mm, resulting in a silhouette that is both sculptural and weightless. The outcome is a lighting element that is airy and discreet, integrating into any interior with an elegance almost paradoxical given its striking visual presence.

Conceived for refined interior spaces, Soleil Noir is an ideal choice for the living room or high-end contract environments where lighting design forms an integral part of the architectural concept. The disc houses a 35W integrated LED source with a 3000K warm white colour temperature and a luminous flux of 1728 lm, ensuring a CRI80 colour rendering index. The light emission is both diffused and reflected: light originates from within the diffuser — measuring 625×192 mm — and then spreads softly throughout the entire room. The overall length of 1200 mm underscores the lamp's natural affinity for generous, statement spaces.

From a technical standpoint, Soleil Noir features a DALI and Push dimming system, allowing precise and flexible control of light intensity — compatible with advanced home automation setups or simple manual configurations. The universal input voltage of 100-240V, integrated driver, Class I insulation and IP20 protection rating confirm its exclusive use for indoor applications.
