Luceplan Queen Titania suspension lamp

Luceplan Queen Titania is an iconic suspension lamp designed by Alberto Meda and Paolo Rizzatto for Luceplan, conceived as a large-format evolution of the legendary Titania model originally introduced in 1989. The steel structure is enclosed within a lamellar aluminum casing: the ribs are arranged in sequence, making the lamp appear visually transparent when viewed from the front and as a solid, compact body when viewed from the side. This remarkable optical effect is far from purely aesthetic — the slats simultaneously act as an anti-glare screen, a reflector for the central light source, and a heat sink, seamlessly merging engineering precision with uncompromising design.

Queen Titania is conceived for generous, high-impact spaces, both residential and commercial, making it an exceptional centrepiece for a living room that calls for sculptural, sophisticated lighting. The two LED E27 light sources (not included, T38 mm format, max width 150 mm, max 15W each) deliver effective central illumination, while dedicated side housings accommodate optional polycarbonate colour filters — available separately in Yellow, Blue, Purple and Pink — creating vivid chromatic effects without interfering with the main light emission. The 100-240 V compatible voltage makes it suitable for worldwide installation (EU, USA, UK, Australia, Japan). The lamp carries an IP20 rating for indoor use, belongs to insulation class II and is not dimmable. The canopy is included (Ø 14 x 4 cm), with overall dimensions of 16 x 54 x 140 cm and an adjustable cable height ranging from 50 to 450 cm. A suspension kit with counterweight for precise height adjustment is available on request. Colour accessories and bulbs are not included in the standard supply.
